Daisy Kirkwood and her best friend Kammie have adjusted to life on an alien planet pretty well, all things considered. But it's not possible to take a massive music nerd away from her home planet and not expect her to pine for a concert or a record stDaisy Kirkwood and her best friend Kammie have adjusted to life on an alien planet pretty well, all things considered. And thanks to Daisy's alien pop star boyfriend, Griffin Valentino, she has plenty of sexy new experiences to keep her busy. But it's not possible to take a massive music nerd away from her home planet and not expect her to pine for a concert or a record store at least in once in a while.Heading back to Earth with Griffin and his best friend Dev for a brief but much-needed visit, the girls want nothing more than to catch up on the underground music scene of New York City. Unfortunately, thanks to Griffin's less-than-stellar space traveling skills, they accidentally pick up a hitchhiker. Or three hundred. Their many-legged stowaway beasties take up residence in the darkest, creepiest corners of Manhattan, leaving the gang no choice but to experience a very different underground than they bargained for.Giant alien bugs aside, Griffin has some epic plans of his own for their trip, plans that involve a concert, an album… and the most outrageous marriage proposal that Earth has ever seen....

4/5 starsSO MUCH FUN! Compared to the first book this was even better. I totally forgot how entertaining these characters are and how engaging the story is. This book/ series I find goes by super quick and is effortless to get into. Highly recommend if you love aliens or are looking for a book/series to get you out of a reading slump.I also appreciated how in this book, more things were clarified and by the end, I felt, even more, connect to these characters. Just like the first book, certain moments had me LOLing out loud. I love how Kendra Saunders does humor within her story. *Was sent an ebook in exchange for an honest review*

I LOVE this series! If you are looking for something funny and quirky to read then this series is definitely for you! Daisy and Griffin just crack me up. Think Bridget Jones meets Doctor Who and you aren't far off, except that The Doctor in this case is a fashion loving, alien popstar. Literally the situations in this book had me laughing out loud! Over the top, unrealistic, caffeine fueled, unapologetic FUN! If you haven't started this series yet go and get book 1 right now so that you are ready for when the sequel releases. I seriously can't wait for book 3!A fun filled intergalactic 5 stars from me!V""V

Dear Kendra L. Saunders,Thank you. Thank you for the sexy, outrageous, British Pop Star Alien Prince Griffin. Thank you for sweet, adorable, responsible must-be-protected-at-all-costs Dev. Thank you for a relatable, realistic, hilarious heroine like Daisy (Wanda). Thank you for Kalesstria. Thank you for the adventure. Thank you for the romance. Now. When is the wedding?! Okay, okay, getting ahead of myself. Sorry. I know you can't hurry greatness, and I know that if Griff has anything to say about it, his wedding to Daisy will be the greatest thing that the galaxy has ever seen! Even including his sold-out concerts. I loved traveling back from Kalesstria to New York (because, come on, everyone loves New York. It's the greatest city on Earth). I loved Griffin's antics and excursions to Barneys, to an indoor swimming pool, and to multiple (yes, multiple) dirty toy shops. Poor little alien boy in the big city. He's so innocent and pure and yet so wildly outlandish. I just love him. And Dev. And this whole series. Can we please, please, please have movies? Seriously. I want movies. Griffin Valentino deserves nothing less than his story on the big screen.

This book was insanely funny! I loved seeing what new shenanigans Griffin gets himself into and how Daisy helps him get out of them. The concert surprise was awesome! Can't wait to see what else is in store for Griffin and Daisy :)

This was so much fun. I actually think I liked it better than the first one. A lot of this feels like a transplant's love letter to NYC, which really captured me because I've been living in the city for a while now and haven't been as in touch with those feelings of amazement and love one gets when one first moves here. It was really nice to be back in that mindset through this book. The characters are hysterical and I loved how Kammie's character got more and more interesting. I really recommend this series for anyone who is looking to read something fun and light-hearted.

Book 2 was even more fun than Book 1, and I didn't think that was possible! Engaged picks up right where Dating left off and it's a wild ride from the very beginning. The story will take you through a range of emotions and, if you're like me, you'll be making faces and laughing out loud in public places. It's a quick and easy read (too short, I'm a greedy reader!) and you won't be able to put it down. I'm waiting with bated breath for the third installment.

Soaring Up High Engaged to an Alien Pop Star is the sexy second installment in the Dating an Alien Pop Star series! It certainly lived up to its predecessor and was such a fun read. I throughly enjoyed reading the progression of Griffin and Daisy's relationship. They are now in a steady relationship and things are going great. There is so much sweetness associated with the two. Tons of kissing and some sexy moments. However, Saunders keeps up the spirit of showing how much these two people love each other. The balance and chemistry between them was no forced. And, Saunders made their relationship more entertaining as usual. There are some extremely funny moments relating to Griffin's alien behavior. And, his style of dressing so adorable. I love how Griffin's antics and quirks made the relationship so much fun.The overall plot was extremely well done. I had a great time learning more about Griffin's planet. The meetings and all the prime ministers are extremely hilarious. I love how Saunders added subtle differences to the planet and showed why earth was so attractive. In addition, the whole universe and space travel concept is extremely cool.I really enjoyed seeing Devon and Kammie's relationship progress. It was adorable to see the two of them get together. Aliens and humans together is just an awesome combo. And, Griffin and his dad's relationship throughouly improved throughout the book. I really liked seeing a new side of Griffin, his diplomatic side. It was very well portrayed the burden of his responsibilities.Overall, this is a great second installment to Griffin and Daisy's love story. I really enjoyed reading it. There were great laugh out loud moments.

I found this to be a quick and easy read. I enjoyed the writer's voice and sense of humour. The story was on the light side, lacking any real conflict. I'd recommend to those looking for a light, romantic read with a bit of humour to it.

A brilliant sequel to the equally brilliant Dating an Alien Pop Star.Daisy, Kammie, Devon and Griffin are back, but something else is too ...A great story that teaches us that being who you are is enough to be special and that you can be brave and scared at the same time. It tells about love, friendship and fandom. All packed together in an extremely fun read, filled with music, fashion and, somehow, sex toys.

OMG....Where to start without giving anything away?!?!?!?! This book was an extremely fun and exciting read!! I was completely under a stance with this story and the way the author wrote it. I craved more at the turn of every page and I enjoyed this one even more than the first story. So much more humor and romance was in this story. The author was able to bring forth more of the characters in this story, which made it that much more enjoyable. I laughed, smiled, and yes, even cried, throughout this story. It was just amazing!!Griffin Valentino. What can I say about Griff? He is the greatest, most energetic, free spirited, compassionate, and funny alien that I have ever had the opportunity to meet!! I know this may make his head swell a bit, but it is all true and I have fallen hard for this character. There were times that I would laugh so hard at Griffin that I would scare my cat even. The author did a spectacular job bringing this character to life. I felt as if I was part of the story. I could imagine clearly in my head Griffin's facial expressions when he didn't understand something, to his actions, to the clothes that he wore. This is a lighthearted and fun read that I know you will all love just as much as I have and I highly recommend this to all to read!! If you haven't read Dating an Alien Pop Star yet, be sure to grab your copy and read it!! It's free and everybody loves free.

Another "can't put it down" in the Alien Pop Star series, as in once I made time to actually get going, I devoured it in 4 hours. Many moments had me cackling out loud. For me it's a perfectly balanced blend of sci-fi, romance, fun and music nerdiness.

Needs more Dev but I'm biased haha. Fun, quick to get through, liked the journey the characters took throughout the book, and really enjoyed the playfulness of the tone
