Very disappointed. Not even going to finish itI am not a prude by any means, but why all the curse words? It doesn't add anything to the story. It jars my head when I see it. If this is the level of your books now, I won't be buying more.

I was hooked!I should have known better than to start this book at 11pm to read a couple of chapters, I could not stop reading! Elsbeth has no filter and is a hilarious narrator in this story. There are times that make you laugh, and times when your jaw drops and you want to shout at the page. Sad moments abound too, especially when Longpork is mentioned. Over all I absolutely loved this book, Mr Bible hooks you in with the very first page and keeps your heart pounding until the last. I really hope there is more to be told about the sisters.

I love this series. Like, A LOT. Every single book is the perfect combination of witty humour, and zombie gore. I'm sad that this is the last one.

Right...within 20 mins of audiobook...the book is confusing. It seems to be from the point of view of a teenager...so you would think that it therefore is marketed toward teenagers. The level of obscene language an the excessive and over the top use of said obscene language would suggest otherwise. Anytime you can have the author's mother referred to as a 'evil bitch' more than once in a 3 minute time span clearly the writing is unoriginal at best. Referring to another character as a 'a lying liar pants liar shit fucker'...Well...that's my cue to leave. Zero stars ; Too terrible to continue

The zombies in this series follow the Hollywood movie rules - which is to say, they're impossible and illogical. Since the author clearly intends to give us a fun story, rather than a scientifically believable one, I won't complain too much about the zombies. I did enjoy the series, but found it annoying that Jason 'Jace' Stanford kept being referred to as being smart. In my opinion, Jace never exhibited more than average intelligence.

Sisters of the Apocalypse confirmed that this series should have switched to having Elsbeth as the main protagonist a long time ago, probably as far back as the second book. This series has always felt like more of her story than Jace Stanford's and it is nice to finally get it focusing in on her. With this new switch up there is a lot less bullying of the protagonist to frustrate me as a reader. There's a lot more action, a lot less incompetence and basically a more enjoyable story all around. Granted, sometimes a little bit of Elsbeth goes a long way, but in the main, this was a much more enjoyable book than the ones that have gone before. More importantly, this book has done enough to breathe fresh life into this series. I have to admit that if this book hadn't already been published after I read the 6th book in this series, then I might not have bothered picking it up. Now, I will more than likely pick up the next book in the series when that is published to see what Elsbeth and the sisters get up to next. One slight gripe that still bugs me about this series (and this sub-genre of books) is that almost every single person in the post-apocalyptic world who isn't a part of the core cast is a bad person. Everyone is either a rapist, cannibal, murderer or someone who is just looking to take advantage of everyone else. I get it, it's a harsh environment, but so much so to account for this level of a change in everyone... not sure I buy that. Especially to the extent of what happens with the Doyles in this book. I don't buy that everyone in that gang would stand back and do nothing while all that was going on. Overall, it's a solid 4-star novel and an enjoyable zombie book. Fingers crossed that the next book keeps up the good work.

Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves…First things first.Even though this is book 7 in a series, it absolutely works as a standalone. I’ve only read about 3 or 4 of these – certainly not all of the previous 6 – but even if this had been my first, it completely works. So, don’t let that number 7 stop you from enjoying this.Second, I got the book through Kindle Unlimited. If you don’t have KU, know that it’s totally worth buying it outright. Now, to the book.If Quentin Taratino wrote Z-Fic (and lost his affinity for the N Word), this would be that book. This is a wham bam thank you ma’am, bodies and blood, slice and dice of a book and it’s all kinds of awesome. The body count is huge, the Z’s are scary, and the humans are even scarier. And aside from all the glorious slicing and dicing (and shooting and pounding and gutting and beheading), the book is funny as hell. Our main character, Elspeth, is more than half crazy and has the mouth of a sewer rat. Girl curses so much she had me doing it! But she’s likable, hilarious, and good with a blade, a gun, or just a kick to the head. This is simply one of my favorite books in a long time.If you want a book that's pure fun (bloody, violent fun), this is your next read!

Not quite the same story with a completely different protagonist, but it is not too bad. If you enjoy the larger storty line, then the reader will be ok with the difference.

Love those badass sistersI am so glad that the author decided to continue this series. Elsbeth was one of my favorite characters and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed being inside her head. I love her humor, her kickass attitude, and her creative swearing. I also loved getting to know the other sisters. They are all badasses. I'm so excited to read the next book and see where they go next, who they run into, and who's butt they kick next.

Missing Long PorkI liked El, but really, I liked her in the dynamic with Long Pork and family. Without them, this story was missing heart. Killing Long Pork and Stella was a bad move unless the series ended, which it should have done. El is a great character, but without Long Pork, she is missing her heart, her family. The sisters are nice, but they have all been trained to be emotionless, so it's very hard to make an emotional connection with their characters.

AwesomeBy far the best zombie series I have ever read! Jason "Long Pork" Stanford was an amazing storyteller and Elsbeth does a great job taking over for him in this seventh installment of the Z-Burbia Series.

Elsbeth's mind is even more twisted than Jace's ever was. It was great to get another story set in this post-zombie apocalypse world, but the story was over before I was ready.
