Reviewed by [email protected] Stars ReviewsAisling thinks her mother may be back from the dead, and she's not really sure that's a good thing. She thinks her dad may be hiding something, and she may find out what it is. But she is also keeping a secret from her family, and she's not really sure how to handle it. Things get even more complicated when the wraiths come back, and a new threat comes into Aisling's life, and she isn't sure how to deal with it. This book was really great! I adored everything going on in it, and I thought it was hilarious as well. The relationship between Aisling and her brothers is freaking awesome. I adore reading about them and their antics. I can't wait to read more.

My heart is saddened, but happyI wish I had the loving mom like Aisling did. I had Gma love, but we all know a child wants the love, support and affection that only parents can give.My heart rolled with happiness, sadness and anger with all the twists and turns. Onto the next Grimlock adventure

Life as a fully fledged reaper has become even crazier for Aisling. Thank goodness she has Griffin to keep her grounded. She needs him more than ever in Grim Discovery. Aisling has a lot to wrestle with, literally and figuratively. There is a lot of action, adventure, and family drama in Grim Discovery - all of which make it an excellent installment of the Aisling Grimlock books.

What...........a great seriesSo this series was great plenty of snarky bantering, some love and overall fleshed out very well. I love the grimlocks in general and Aisling and Griffin to adorable. If you like a great heroine but maybe one who doesn't necessarily lie at either extreme of being too wimpy or too stoic Aisling is your girl. She seems real and attainable . She doesn't have some extraordinary power or ability (as of yet) that would set her apart from her family and make her seem less realistic if that makes sense but it's one of the things I loved. So far she just used her gifts and skill sets to solve and address the issues these people face and there wasn't some magic sword or fix all spell or something to answer all their problems . I think a lot of the times in genres like this it's easy to fall back on those fix-all solutions. But I digress the point is this is a great book in this genre & I'm glad I found it. It's got action, mystery, some drama and even a little love sprinkled on top. All I can say is if any of those kinds of stories appeal to you give this series a read. And Amanda Lee I reeeeaaaallly hope this isn't the last we hear of Aisling and the Grimlocks......please give us more!!!!!

Next to the Witches of the Midwest series, this is my second favorite Amanda M. Lee series and I'm looking forward to reading the next. But if there's one complaint I have, it's the author having the characters spending too much time repeating conversations and retelling of events. They are an unnecessary time wasters that would be better summarized. Actually I'm guessing she must realize it because at one point, Aisling's father basically tells her she's rambling on too much and to get to the point (he doesn't say that exactly, but he does infer such). On a good note, I love the camaraderie (for the most part) that exists between Aisling and her brothers. You can tell this is a family who would do anything for each other, even if they are mad at each other. My other complaint (and this would go for at least two of the other series as well--Avery Shaw and Covenant College) is the almost consistent catty and jealous fighting between the lead female protagonists and other female characters. Yes, they have their close female friends, but anyone else is generally considered (and usually wrongfully) competition over a boyfriend/lover. They irrationally fear that they will be abandoned and left behind. I hope to see future series follow a different direction.

Simply Awesome!! "Snarkiness" at it's Best!!!!!Amanda M Lee writes the absolute best books!! Ever!! Whether it's her Aisling Grimlock series, Avery Shaw series, or her Witches of the Midwest series, Ms. Lee never fails to entertain. Her main character(s) are female, tough, snarky, yet loyal to those they love. Every one of her books makes me laugh out loud continually, yet laughter combines with tears & peril. The Grimlock family is hysterical. I love their family dinners especially. Both Griffin, Aisling's boyfriend & Jerry, her BFF & twin brother Aiden's significant other are both back & add greatly to the story. I will warn you there are many surprises revealed & quite a cliffhanger at the end, so be prepared! If you haven't read any of the above series, do yourself a favor & start - all of them! If you've read them, then download this latest one & prepare to be thoroughly entertained.

Absolutely Amazing!I'm writing this review to you, the author, after reading your "notes" at the end I just wanted to say that although it's polite, there is NO need to apologize for your characters! They are AMAZING! And the sarcasm and fights and fun are the best parts. Truly, I feel like your characters are my thoughts come to life and it's nice to see I'm not the only one that talks and thinks like Aisling and her family. Unfortunately for me, I didn't grow up in the same family she did, although we have our times too. Truly, I love reading and your series has become a favorite among the thousands of books I've read to date. Reading for me is a relaxer, a happy place and an escape, and your books make me laugh, snark and want to live in them. So good job and keep them coming because I'm seriously addicted!!!

A family of reapers. They are a sassy and sarcastic bunch. Dad, four brothers, and a sister. All but one follows the rules. Aisling likes to talk to her souls before she reaps them. She gets into more trouble than anyone else. Yet she can hold her own as well as her brothers. When she does get in over her head they are all there to protect her. And she gets in over her head a lot. Great supporting characters. I really like Jerry, her best friend. I recommend reading the series in order.

Quirky and amusing, Aisling Grimlock just can't catch a break. Her father and brothers are upset with her for keeping secrets about their mother. Her boyfriend's partner is trying to steal him away and a gargoyle is protecting her from danger. Aisling has too many males in her life and she needs to know the truth about her mother. This a series you just can't take seriously, it makes you roll your eyes and laugh out loud. The characters are unique in their own way and brings a balance to Aisling and her crazy life.

One of my favorite authorsThis is a series I would recommend to anyone looking for a light read that will keep you laughing. I love this series. Yes she is immature but I love the whole youngest sibling being a girl with 4 older brothers... She certainly is high maintenance but enjoyable all the same. I can't wait to see if she gets into another knock out fight with her enemy... Lol

I'm in loveI must say I put off reading the Grim series not sure it could hold up to the books I have read by this author, I am glad I did hold off because I got to read the first three one after the other and I am closer to the fourth. Not only is this series a great read it is also laugh out loud funny the Grimlock family will keep you laughing until you cry. Hats off to the author for having in her words a snarky sense of humor. Cannot wait for the next one.

Another Home Run!I wait on pins and needles for each of Amanda M. Lee's books to come out! This book, the 3rd Grimlock, was worth the wait. Bravo for the snarkiness and humor. I don't know anyone who can write quite this way and pull it off! I LOVE EVERY BOOK! Can't wait for the next one.

So goodI love these books! The ability to laugh even when things get ruff is a gift. The family fights but they do it with a impenetrable layer of love. The progress made in the overall story of the series is more than in the first two books and the knock at end is priceless. I cannot wait for more!!!!!!

Grim DiscoveryI loved the story, I enjoy the humor. The editing is good. Th he only advice I would give the author is to not have every series where different characters all blow raspberries.. Reading all the different books with unique characters is the best of her skills. I love Aisling and her family. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

Oh my goodness! This was a great installment of the series. I enjoyed every minute of it. The familial bickering is funny and touching. Lee really knows how to let her readers know just how much the Grimlocks love each other. And the ending! Wow! I can't wait for the next book in the series.

I have really enjoyed all the books Amanda has written. This series is just another great one about a girl, her brothers, cop boyfriend and gay best friend who she lives with. Oh yeah and the strange family business. Once you start reading you don't want it to end.. Thanks for another great one Amanda!

This book is another winner that I loved. If you like snarky humor, you will love this series - I laughed until I cried....literally. I read this while waited for my car and kept getting strange looks from someone else in the waiting room. There's just no easy way to explain this author's books. I just love her sarcastic and snarky humor. This is a must read for fans of the genre.

This series is really fantastic. I love the characters as well as the story lines. Originally I was concerned that the family (including Jerry, of course) would be too much, but I just can't get enough of them. The twists in this book kept me on the edge of my seat. And the end? Obviously I need to download book 4 right away!

So much funI enjoy the snark and sass of Amanda M Lee's books, and the 3rd installment of The Aisling Grimlock series does not disappoint. It is fun, suspenseful, full of snark, and the ending leaves one wishing the next book was already hot off the presses.

    O. M. G. I didn't want to read this book - not because it was bad, but because I knew something big was going on behind the scenes. I had prepared for it and thought I was ready, then she threw me there for a few. Then - BAM - there it was. And oh, my.....

Sorry, not my favorite installment at all. It needs a bit more polishing after the halfway point. It started to really drag on with all the rehashing of same information over and over again. But the story did advance and a nice surprise cliffhanger does leave me eager for next book.
