I enjoyed reading "Re-entry Window" by Eric Tozzi. In a clever nod to the classic "Twilight Zone" television serial, a future manned space flight to Mars encounters a portal in the upper atmosphere of that planet...[WARNING! Possible Spoiler Alert!]...sending the lander craft into the past. Imagine the thoughts of those folks at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) on July 21, 1976, when their own Viking lander started sending color images back to Earth, only to reveal what looks like human footprints in those images! [END of Spoiler Alert]I have no trouble at all believing that eventuality would be a strictly enforced 'secret' you and I would not have heard about 40 years ago. That simple notion gives "Re-entry Window" a real element of believability, making it all the more enjoyable to read. This was a great short story, and I recommend it to all 'time travel' fans, 'Twilight Zone' fans, and space exploration fans.

I love Reentry Window. I loved it, when it first came out in the short story collection called Synchronic. This is a perfect read either by itself or nestled in the collection. Tozzi has created an outstanding time paradox. The story takes you all the way to Mars. Yum, Space travel and time paradoxes, 2 of my favorite tropes... Go ahead read the story and see what you think...
