1,5 starsFrom all the frogs I kissed in the last weeks this was the bullfrog. What a jumbled mess!Cheap effects like bombs and torture chambers don`t make a good crime story, unappealing characters don`t make a good romance. Confusing head hopping and switching between first- and last name, over-the-top villains, an incredibly naive chick with dick as hero - falling for an asshole who doesn`t take no for an answer. ("But it feels so nice - force me and I`m yours!"......Oh please, spare me!)The half star is for the dizzying pace - a quick read, thanks for that.

NOT for everyone! I am the queen of sap and HEA but those who want REALISTIC and MC's with self preservation instincts might get an aneurism with this one.The blurb hinted at a traumatic type story line that i stay away from. I am glad I took the risk with this one. It has a similar feel to a BA Stretke book Signed and Sealed which is a favorite of mine BUT a lot of people make fun of. The MC Asher has SEVERAL TSTL (too stupid to live) moments but he is always rescued just at the nick of time. This could have been an angst ridden sob fest of a story but the timing and writing style turned it into a feel good for me. I love this story...If you love Cinderfella type stories where helpless victimized lead ends up with powerful and rich alpha male (Max Tyler) who treasures and protects him... This book is for you.

Boy I sure do not agree with the first review that appeared here. This was a wonderful story! Action packed and I loved the characters. To each her own I guess but this made all kinds of sense to me. I think it was very well thought out. A great crime story and an even better love story!

3 HeartsFirst published at MM Good Book Reviews begin to fall apart for Asher when his brother is put in the hospital…again. Finding out how much his brother’s gambling debts are nearly knock him off his feet. His immediate boss, at his new job, is out to get him and he has a heavy case of lust at first sight for the gorgeous blue-eyed stranger, who he later discovers is Max Tyler, owner of the club he works. Asher is dragged into a plot to get rid of Tyler, but what will Asher do when his brother’s life is in danger and so is that of Tyler? Just who is the most important person to Asher and how can he get out of the mess he has fallen into? This is a well written story that has a lot of action and danger to keep you on your toes. Asher gets dragged into something he has no clue about when his brother runs up gambling debts that he just can’t pay. When Asher meets Tyler, he is swept off his feet, but later finds out that Tyler is the target and that his brother’s life is in danger. Asher has no clue where to turn and to make it worse; Neil (his immediate boss) is making his life miserable and has very evil intentions. Tyler spotted the sexy Asher on Asher’s first night at work and he wants him, and what Tyler wants he gets. But, a lot of things seem to be leading to Asher, Tyler needs to learn the truth, but that doesn’t mean he can stay away from the sexy Asher. You know, I enjoyed this storyline and the various characters made it interesting. Although, I am still not sure about Asher, half the time he seemed like he had a backbone and a spine of steel, but then he’d get around Tyler and act like he didn’t have a brain anymore and would turn to mush. Tyler was a real alpha male. People would fall over themselves to give him what he wants and his enemies want him dead. Tyler is a very powerful character and he works really well in this book. He and Asher are great together, but I still have a hard time understanding Asher’s reaction to him, it just seemed overboard. The action is quite fast paced and Asher does manage to attract danger, there is a near rape scene and also a dubious consent scene (which was really hot) and Asher really needs to get his mind and body in sync. Neil is the perfect ex who has gone off his rocker and carries it out brilliantly. He really was nuts. I really wanted Asher to confront his brother over the trouble he landed them in, but it didn’t happen.I will recommend this to those who love strong alpha males, a submissive who tries to fight what he really wants, danger, action, hot sex, and a happy ending for these two men.

I enjoyed the way in which the main character eventually found love from a 'mobster' and also the slight touch of humor. This is the first time I have read a book from this author and I am looking forward to reading more.

I had high hopes for this book when I read the blurb. I mean, I liked the story but I grew frustrated multiple times with it.Asher is put into deep trouble when his brother acquires severe gambling debt and is injured for his inability to pay. Taking up his brother's slack, Asher is forced to do certain things to repay the debt. Starting a new job, though, he's pushed into a world where he attracts a lot of attention and not all of it is wanted. When he unknowingly starts a semi-relationship with the owner of the club, Tyler, he works at, he gets harassed by his beau's ex-lover. I liked a lot of things about this book. The whole brother owes gambling debt was a nice touch because it put Asher in the situation he was in. I liked that Asher is straight but has an uncontrollable attraction to Tyler. Asher is also such a pretty boy that a lot of guys wanted to have sex with him. I liked that Tyler is forceful but gentle with Asher. I didn't feel like their love was genuine because they honestly didn't know each other but I liked how things developed and the situations they were put into. And I really loved how it ended because I thought it was sweet which left me with a smile on my face. What I really hated about the book, though, was Asher's inability to say enough was enough. To be honest, if I had a brother that constantly put me in dangerous situations where my life was constantly threatened, I'd say "Sayonara, sucker!" It's one thing to help out someone you care about but to do it over and over again without that person giving a shit whether they put your life in danger is just ridiculous. I wouldn't put myself through that. But that's just me. I also felt like there was too much sex. When something happened and Asher and Tyler needed to talk, they'd have sex instead which is why I don't feel like their love was genuine. All in all, not a bad story. I'd read more from this author and I did like that this book dealt with the more criminal side of things. It had a few suspenseful moments, some sweet moments as well and I liked that about it. I wouldn't mind getting more stories in this world, though, as long as they were more fleshed out with less sex.

Hmmm! How do I put this.....this is a bit of a weird one to review. The basic idea is quite good but its as if the author took off running and then lost control of the brakes! Handled differently this could have been a good m/m crime romance but because of the characterization of her main characters it all becomes a bit farcical and ( I'm pretty certain ) unintentionally camp. Asher is blissfully unaware of his attractiveness but is constantly being manhandled by all and sundry because he's so beautiful and alluring, Max Tyler is so gorgeous and "dangerously mysterious" that he can get away with constantly manhandling Asher when he feels like it - and he feels like it a lot - and all the baddies are way over the top ( on a more serious note, there is a scene of attempted rape so of course I do not include that in my comments about manhandling and would never make fun of such an upsetting subject, mostly the rest of the manhandlings between Asher and Tyler are domineering but consensual ). One of the bad guys comes across more like a jealous girlfriend, and his ways of getting Asher into trouble swing from being utterly childish one minute to terribly fiendish the next - confusing! The situations Asher gets into are all caused because he is just too naive to be true and this results in the story unravelling into silliness. I didn't hate it and at times found it entertaining but not for the reasons I should have. Not badly written at all, tightened up this could have been very good, as it stands its passable.

I got this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.Until You is the Hurri Cosmo's debut book, and man, what a wild ride! Fast paced with lovable characters. I connected with most strongly with Asher because I saw in him a good heart, he'd rather risk his own life than his brother's or lover's. Max's mystery added to his desirability. This book is highly recommended!

Some people just seem to attract danger and problems, and Asher of ‘Until You’ is definitely one of them. He means well, feels responsible for his older brother, and all he wants is a peaceful life, but it isn’t meant to be. Pair him with a real bad*ss mobster-type-almost-villain like Max, and the sparks are bound to fly. This is a fast-paced, action-packed story with lots of subterfuge, intrigue, blackmail, and political maneuvering, and if that isn’t enough for you, there is always the intense attraction between Asher and Tyler that leads to electrifying, almost violent encounters.Asher has a lot of issues, but the fact he wants to protect his older brother, who is just asking for trouble over and over again, is probably Asher’s biggest issue. Well, that and the fact he is attracted to a man way out of his league and not someone you’d want to introduce to your parents. Ever! Once he agrees to deal with his brother’s latest gambling debt and begins working at Max’s club it’s all downhill for him from there. The moment he thinks’ he’s solved one issue, two more pop up and he is quickly about to drown. Worse than that, his physical attraction to Max gets him in trouble as well, and even though he fights it and says no, Max isn’t the kind of man to give up. I have to admit, even after finishing the book I wasn’t sure whether Asher really wanted him as well or if he just gave in to the force of nature that is Max.Max is not a hero. He isn’t nice, he is ruthless, and kills people without a second thought if he believes “they deserve it”. Max is the perfect example of an anti-hero: not morally deserving, but with a morality all his own, and so hot it isn’t funny. He is possessive, and his treatment of Asher is borderline abusive – his only redeeming characteristic is that he does listen to what Asher wants, and since he seems to enjoy the harsh treatment, Max continues to give it to him. He also “magnanimously” decides to handle all of Asher’s issues, but since he doesn’t communicate his intent, there are multiple misunderstandings which make things worse. His heavy-handed treatment isn’t for everyone (if I were Asher I’d tell him where to stuff his ideas!), but it seems to work for Asher, so who am I to judge? If you like fast-paced action stories with main characters who do not always walk the straight and narrow, if you want to read about two men who are definitely in lust but have an unconventional way of showing it, and if you’re looking for a read with a story line as morally corrupt as it is entertaining and hot, then you will probably enjoy this novel.NOTE: This book was provided by the publisher for the purpose of a review on Rainbow Book Reviews.

I enjoyed this sweet romance and fast paced adventure. It has a slightly yaoi feel, with an uber alpha who falls deeply for his latest quarry, plenty of sinister evil characters, a naive but honorable 20 year old hero (Asher) who is trying to do his best in life, wants to be a photographer, but who has to keep rescuing his older brother from gambling debts and escalating hospital bills. After visiting his beaten up brother in hospital Asher is threatened by a loan shark seeking retribution for his brothers debts, if not by monetary means then by paying with his body. Then when he finds where Asher is working work he offers him another way out, but you can sense that once he complies then he will never be free. But what choice does he have, he has not got the money needed to get his brother out of trouble and he feels that there is nothing he can do but comply. This is also complicated by the growing attraction he has for his boss, Max Tyler, who in turn feels compelled to protect and dominate, as well possibly even love Asher as well, which I am sure he never expected to ever happen to him. Not only does Asher have a survive the low life lone shark but he also has to deal with the jealous antics of an ex-lover of Tyler and the lecherous and dangerous patrons of the club he works for. Throughout this Asher still retains an innocence and goodness about him and unbeknown to him he gains some powerful allies. The story is full of twists and turns, as well as some hot sexy encounters, but the length of the story gave time for the relationship to develop. Some may say at times it was over the top, but it was fun and a good few hours of escapism plus rooting for the good guys (as well as enjoying a few romantic scenes). I am looking forward to reading the sequel, as I am hoping it might give a bit more detail into Tyler's business dealings. My rating is 4.5, rounded up to a 5.I received a copy of this book from the author via IndiGo Marketing & Design in exchange for an honest review

Yeah, there's lack here and there (the switching from first name to last name was a big mistake!) but I'm enjoying this cinderfella story..fu..fu..fu... Max Tyler was truly an alpha male, as for Asher, I wanna give you this!!! Also, I think the story was a bit similar withOkane Ga Naimanga.

Until You by Hurri Cosmo3.5 StarsReviewed for www.heartsonfirereviews.comAsher is constantly bailing out his older brother from one scrape or another but this latest one is the worst ever. His brother is almost beaten to death and he finds out that it’s because of a large gambling debt that Asher is now expected to pay. If he cleans out their nest egg, he has about half of it but he still needs to get the rest of the money or his brother’s life is on the line. Asher is starting a new job waiting tables at an exclusive hot spot in the city and this is something that Ryker, the loan shark, finds interesting as he now may have a way to get information on Max Tyler, the elusive owner of the club. Ryker’s main interest isn’t the money or Max Tyler, he wants Asher.Asher’s first night at the club doesn’t go so well, he is so gorgeous that most people want him and that includes Max Tyler. Tyler’s ex lover is Asher’s immediate supervisor and the man is bat shit crazy jealous and Asher now has a very dangerous enemy. Asher is a beautiful, naïve virgin but he knows that the intense blue eyed man that stares at him in the club makes him feel things he has never felt before. It isn’t long before the men have sex and Tyler takes his virginity without even an exchange of names. Asher has no idea of Tyler’s identity but Tyler makes sure to find out every detail of Asher’s life, the beautiful blonde man is his and no one else is going to have him. Asher makes him feel alive for the first time in years and Tyler is not going to give that up. Tyler is all Alpha male who gets what he wants and Asher is the sweet submissive who can’t help but want to please Tyler. This story has several things going for it, it is well written, it has an interesting plot and there is a lot of action that keeps the story flowing but, with that being said, I didn’t really like the main characters. Asher vacillates between being strong and taking care of his brother’s messes to being spineless and annoying. He has several TSTL (too stupid to live) moments that put him in physical danger and there are a couple attempted rapes that occur but Asher is always saved in time. Tyler felt like a cardboard cut out to me. I never felt invested in him. There isn’t a lot of relationship development, more sex than talking. It sounds like I didn’t like the story but I actually did. It is entertaining, fast paced and the sex is pretty hot. I would recommend it to someone looking for a diversion who can suspend their disbelief and just enjoy the ride.

I received a copy of this book from the author via IndiGo Marketing & Design in exchange for an honest review.Asher is a sweet guy with a big problem. His brother keeps getting into trouble with the wrong people. The latest bit of trouble is that he owes someone a very large sum of money. So Asher manages to get a job at a club that is owned by a local mobster named Max Tyler. He’s never seen Max so on his first night when the very hot guy in the well-tailored suit is starting at him, he doesn’t realize it’s Max. Work is tough with a boss who hates him and causes him a lot of trouble. Asher also has trouble with the guy who is coming after him for his brother’s gambling debt. Max has set his sights on Asher though and will do whatever it takes to protect him and make Asher his. The story is full of kidnapping, suspense, mobsters, crooked politicians, political intrigue, assassination attempts, alpha males, and hot sex. Asher and Max are in lust with each other as soon as they lay eyes on each other. The sex between them is smoking hot. I found it to be believable though. There wasn’t any love with it at first. Max does start falling for Asher and realizes that for the first time in his life he wants someone. That’s where the alpha male comes in. Asher tries to fight Max’s advances but to no avail. Actually, his fighting is an act because he likes being manhandled. In the end, Max gets rid of the people who are trying to hurt “his” Asher and he sets Ryker, Asher’s brother, up in a home of his own, and Asher moves in with Max.The one thing I felt was missing from the story was Ryker. He was briefly in the story at the beginning but disappeared after that. I kept waiting for him to make some sort of appearance. He started everything and created so much trouble for Asher but we never hear from him. I felt like it was a plot hole. I did enjoy the book. Although the action and drama were a bit over the top at times, I really liked Max and his people as well as Asher. Despite Max and his people being mobsters who would and did kill people, Max would do anything to keep Asher safe. I thought this was a fun book to read and I enjoyed the story. I’m looking forward to reading the second book in the series.

*** This book was provided by Indigo in exchange for an unbiased review ***First of all, I really loved this book. It left me with a warm and fuzzy feeling after I finished it. I just loved Asher and Max. You could feel their connection and their emotions were so realistic, you were completely sucked into the book. Although the book left me content, it isn't really a happy and fluffy book. Most of the book was coloured in Asher's fear for his brother, Max and himself. So, this book commences by introducing us to Asher and his brother Ryker, who lies in the hospital because he was beaten up by some guys he owed money. Ryker amassed a gambling dept, again, and was caught for it. But what started as Rykers problem quickly also concerns Asher, who is expected to pay for the 24.000 dollar dept. Their parents left them some of an inheritance, but it is alredy greatly reduced by former depts, so that Asher can only come up with half of the desired sum.To pay for the rest, he is forced to either pay with his body or be an inside man at his new job in the club "Rise". The club is owned by Max Tyler, a millionaire with much more power than it seems. He takes notice of Asher, who starts out as an interesting novelty that Max wants to have for himself. At least at first. They start something of a relationship while learning more about each other. But problems amass, at work because of an jealous ex-lover and at home with Ryker, because of the threat and the following situations Asher stumbles into. That might not sound that dangerous, but please don't read the book if you can't stomach violence and angst. Because there are for example several rape-attempts in this book, some just as threat but others as a specific situation. There is also light BDSM. But if you don't have any problems with the that and maybe even enjoy reading it, I would definitley recommend this book to you. It is very interesting and not just the typical sequence of romance, story twist and happy ending. The characters fight for their ending and overcome their problems throughout the whole book. That said, please read it :)

Let me first say that I've heard a lot of junk about amazon this week and the way they're treating ARC readers, so let me preface by saying, I do not know the author personally in any way shape or form.... However, I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review... so here goes!... Beware, probably some spoilers, usually when I review, I rant and rave LOL Ok, now here goes...Asher wants to protect his brother from a man who cornered him in the street on his first day at a new job. His brother having previously beat up by the man in quesiton for owing him money... a creepy dude too, seriously... Not having the money, Mr, Creeper makes a deal with him, one he wouldn't let him refuse and Asher didn't have much of a choice either way.... However, upon a few encounters with the person he's to spy on (Tyler) for Mr. Creeper, he can't bring himself to do it.... They forged a relationship and he didn't want to see him get hurt....I really liked Asher, he kepts getting dealt crappy hands by his brother... I mean who wouldn't do all they could to protect someone they it turned out because of Mr. Creepy dude, he was forced between trying to protect his brother or the man he was currently being seduced by...That was a big mess and it honestly kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, I was burning through the pages trying to see what happened next... it's been a while since a book has sucked me in like that, I'm not usually one for angsty books but I really liked it...Only thing I didn't care for was not knowing what happened to Griffin and Keith... these men were the worst! Griffin was Tylers ex/Ashers new boss and he was an extremely jealous, borderline psychotic mess lol maybe I'm tuning into my own little bits of psycho because I really wanted to see what happened to them... I know whatever it was, it was pretty bad but.... I'm a big fan of karmatic justice... I'm glad they got some when Tyler found out all they had been doing to Asher... I guess I'll have to make it up in my own mind and hope it does it justice itself lolOverall, I really liked this book and I appreciate getting a chance at reading it!4 stars for me!

Oh, I just loved this book. It’s the anti-hero in Max Tyler. Asher is a sweet kid that needs a bad man to take care of him because Asher just attracts trouble. The author makes this an interesting and fun read. The writing in the book is smooth and easy. I admit that it is a bit shallow but enjoyable. The author manages to make the plot believable and fun. It’s weird to think of a violent tale as being sweet and fun. Its action packed with an alpha male in Tyler that is text book! Now because I have to be fair in the review I will say that the characters were over the top. Sometimes Asher is all brave and strong and then he is all a pushover for an unknown man. There will be many that don’t like the first sex scene that is all “NO!No!no….yes!!!!” I know that is unrealistic to have the two main characters “fall in love” when they don’t even know each other. And why! Would Tyler act like he does when he has never seemed to for anyone else? Yeah, it is a bit farfetched but this is one of the reasons I read fiction and romance in particular. I want that insta-love/lust sometimes and men that will do ANYTHING for their partner. In the end I thought this story was excellent but as a read it was good… so that is why I am giving it a 4:)

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. Asher is a young man trying to make it on his own and take care of his older brother, Ryker. Not an easy feat. Max Tyler is a business man in Chicago and owns lots of different business. One is a night club. This is a wonderful story, I highly recommend to Mm lovers. It has a little of everything, bad guys, setups, crazed stalkers... Looking forward to Hurri's next story.

I liked this just fine, it just dint do that much to me. Yes, there was a bit suspense. Not much, but enough to make it interesting. Yes there was a bit of chemistry and hot scenes. But no big sparks or flaming infernos, but enough to raise the temperature a bit. So it was ok. However the story was teeming with annoying characters and I just couldn't get past the stupidity of the main characters.

4.5 starsAfter you read couple of hundreds of romance books, you tend to lose the ability to suspend your become more critical - the books you rated 4 or 5 stars just year ago, you'd rate 3 now and what you considered to be sweet love story, now is just pathetic. And you know,I thought that happened to me...and I was a little saddened by that fact,'cause sometimes I just want sweet and unbelievable and let myself enjoy. And when that urge for something sweet came again,I decided to try with Hurri Cosmo,'cause I loved Baby, Think it Over, and I thought if I enjoy this story just half of how much I enjoyed BTIO it would be great.Well,I enjoyed it almost as much, and what can I left me with a big smile on my face! :) I was thinking what to write in this know - what sets this book apart from all those romance books that tether on the very edge of believable,or if they do cross that line, why the critical side of me didn't react? Why I loved this story when I know that the chances of something like this happening in a real life are close to zero, and yet this is contemporary romance, not a fantasy? Well,I think the answer is Hurri Cosmo herself...every time you come close to that "this is just not possible" moment she will make you laugh. Really,I laughed more than once out loud while reading this book, and I think that humor is mandatory ingredient in all of her books (I will have to read more to confirm this fact, which I fully intend to). She gives you villain's POV,and although they are over-the-top sometimes,I love those glimpses of them. Sometimes she gives you POV of secondary characters, that should,by all means,be unimportant, but they are so well placed, and always add something to the plot, and if not to the plot than they are there for the sake of little humor. So,my conclusion is this would probably not be for everyone...if you're overly realistic, there are high chances that this book is not for you. But,I'm so glad it was for me! I'm off to reading a sequel :)

I received a copy of this book from the author (via Indigo Marketing & Design) in exchange for a honest review.Until You is an interesting read with an intriguing crime/suspense storyline combined with a hot m/m romance. There is a lot going on in this book, with a young naïve photographer, a controlling crime boss and lots of their enemies with elaborate plans to destroy our heroes. I enjoyed this book, although at times it was a little OTT - but sometimes I do like a bit of over the top drama. It definitely kept my attention from start to finish, there were lots of twists and turns that kept me interested.Asher is a twenty two year old photographer who has a lot of problems. His brother has a huge gambling debt and the criminal who he owes the money to is now after Asher for the money. He's started a new job and his vindictive manager hates him at first sight and is constantly causing him problems. His boss Max Tyler, who seems to be some kind of Mafia boss, is trying to get Asher into his bed. And the gang Asher's brother owes money to are blackmailing him to help them bring down Max and his empire. I told you there was a lot going on!Max is an arrogant alpha male crime boss, but I couldn't help but like him. He may not be a hearts and flowers type of guy, but he is sweetly protective of Asher and cares for him in his own way. Asher is a sweetheart but he is so naïve and he seems to attract trouble - he continuously stumbles from one disaster to another! I enjoyed watching their relationship develop, I was really rooting for these two characters. This book won't be for everyone, but I enjoyed it so I give it four out of five stars.

I received a copy of this book from the author via IndiGo Marketing & Design in exchange for an honest reviewI really enjoyed this story! Asher is the nice guy who is constantly having to worry about his brother, Ryker, and his bad choices. The latest bad choice lands him in the hospital with someone coming after Asher to help repay the money Ryker owes. Meanwhile, Asher gets a job at a club and has many issues with his new boss because he is good looking and because Asher catches the eye of the illusive owner who his boss used to be involved with.Max (the owner) sees Asher and is immediately attracted. Max is some kind of well known bad guy, although he is painted in a much more favorable light through this book (most likely because we read about him from Asher's POV). There are clear "bad guy moments", especially when people double cross Max and/or hurt Asher, but I found him mostly likable. Poor Asher got himself into a real pickle a number of times, and it was good to see that he had people looking out for him. His boss was a complete jerk who deserved whatever happened to him and his brother (of course, Max's team is so good and we never find out). Karma got him, though, and I was glad. I hated his character! There is action, mystery, and romance in this book. I felt there was a good mix of the three. I wish I knew a little bit more about Max and what exactly it is he does, but otherwise, this was a great book. I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I was given this book for free to give an honest review!Nothing in the MC's life has gone right for awhile. Lost his parents, bailing out his brother's debts, not much luck in the job department. His brother is in the hospital from a beating and after visiting, the MC leaves to go to a job interview, is waylaid by one of the bad guys and the only thing that saves his ass is that he has a job interview at the ritzy club. And so it goes from there. read as the MC is on a rollercoaster of a ride...Finding a hot guy, having to betray the guy, having to dodge a jealous ex of said hot guy, trying to dodge a scuzzy loan shark and on and on and on. You root for the good guys and boo the bad guys. Sometimes you change opinion of a character half way through. It's an easy, happy and somewhat suspenseful read. I found it entertaining and look forward to reading the next book in series!

3.5 starsThere are some books, that just hold your attention. For me, this was one of those books. While the writing wasn't superb and the story wasn't all that great, it just had something. It reminded me of Fifty Shades of Grey in that respect. It definitely wasn't the best book I've ever read, but there was just something about it that made it fun and hard to put down.Incredibly fast paced and completely over the top, but it works.

Really love this author. This is a great edge of your seat story that doesn't let you go from the first page. Asher is too nice to his brother but that's just him and the reason he does what he does. Love the fact Tyler won't let him escape. Just love that kind of confidence in a love story. I read on her blog there is a sequel. Hope it comes out soon.

Asher has a brother who brings a world of hurt and trouble down on himself and Asher is mixed up right in the middle. The story has some dark twist and you are not even sure if the good guys are really that good. But it is a great mystery story and following all the turns the story makes keeps you on the edge of your seat.

I wanted to like this one more than I did. I liked the setting and the MC. I never warmed up to the MC's love interest, and I never felt that they really loved each other. It just felt like lust to me. I'd like to read something else by Hurri Cosmo, because often when I read a book with such potential, they improve the next book.

1.5 starsAll wrong, a confusing mess. Forgettable and badly executed story and the romance leaves a lot to be desired, nope, I am not a happy reader. I could have kicked one MC to kingdom come, not recommended. Leaves a bad aftertaste, better not to venture here, a maddening story.
