I Am Jewish American Reviews
The book is an informational text slightly woven into a story about a girl named Rachael. She begins with her grandparents' arrival to Ellis Island and then discusses some faucets of Jewish culture such as the what is a Bat Mitzvah, their home country of Israel, and why the Sabbath is a day of rest. The book is useful for the information it provides but I found it to be a bit dry and boring.
