3.5 StarsThis was a lovely little small-town romance. The story was simple and sweet; beautifully written, featuring likeable characters and a heart-warming love story. I liked how imperfectly perfect Kevin was, and although he may not have been professionally or financially successful, he was a good man through and through and Clare couldn’t have found a nicer, more loving man to call her own. I’ll be sure to keep this author on my radar from here on out.

Trust in Me was a sweet and quick read that I couldn't put down...Claire as grown up in a life of privilege and wealth. That doesn't mean that she always gets what she wants. Coming from a place where women are all expected to act a certain way, marry a certain man, and have babies, Claire realises that's not the life she wants for herself. Especially after she finds out her dad set up her engagement to her fiance all for a business deal, and the fiance is cheating on her. Deciding enough is enough Claire decides it's time to make some decisions for herself and takes off to the small town of Grayson where she meets Kevin. This story was cute and sweet. You drawn into their world and unable to stop until you reach the last page. I love the strength you see in Claire and the determination and fortitude you see with Kevin. Together the two of them are unstoppable. This is definitely one of those stories that will pull at your heart strings on more than on occasion. Especially the story behind Kevin. I just wanted to hug him to death because he so deserves it.The only thing that I wish we would have had more of was the actual romance between these two. Don't get me wrong, the chemistry and sexual tension is there. It's just that they only ever go on one real date before they are practically completely in love and ready for forever. I just felt that was a tad unbelievable and the story would have felt more real had we had a little more. Which yes, would have led to a longer book, but with a couple like these two who wouldn't want more pages? lolOverall this was a great romance. It was heart wrenching, sweet, and swoon worthy with just the right amount of drama.

I'm very surprised this has a low rating. I found it a very, very cute read. Loved Claire and love, love loved Kevin!! Maybe I need to start hanging around in hardware stores to see if I can meet a Prince Charming like he was!! Loved the cast of minor characters...Mrs. Proctor, the old crumgeon landlady with a heart of gold, Sam, Kevin's godfather, who is homeless after suffering from PTSD from his time in the Gulf War, Lydia, the other cashier at the hardware store...and even Mutt, the scraggly dog that takes up at Kevin's. I'll most def check out more of Beth's books.

Trust In Me by Beth Cornelison was a different, yet intriguing and all-together unique book on today’s market. Synopsis: Escaping the cheating fiancé and sheltered life her father has arranged for her, Claire Albritton wants nothing more than to take control of her life and learn to fight her own battles. Kevin Fuller believes he must rescue damsels in distress and Claire is decidedly out of her element in small town South Carolina. When trouble inevitably finds Claire, Kevin's white knight protection and heroics are exactly what Claire doesn't want. But his kisses...that's another matter.Review: I enjoyed Trust In Me and once I picked it up, I didn’t want to put it down. It’s a quick read, one that flows smoothly and offers the reader an insight into all minds involved. This book latched on to my attention after a few chapters and while some times I wanted to shake the two characters into talking,I also found myself really pushing for them to continue. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick weekend read and a sweet, sizzling romance. Four out of five stars.

This is such a sweet heartfelt read. Perfect for a rainy day. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. There's just enough drama and romance to keep you glued to the pages. The romance that developed between Claire and Kevin was just so sweet, it took my breath away:) Claire wants independance, to take control of her life, to get away from her controlling father and cheating fiance. She ends up applying for a job at a hardware store, where Kevin works as manager.Kevin has worked at the hardware store for years, putting himself through college and just getting by paying his bills. When he meets Claire and hires her he feels very protective of her(just what Claire wants to avoid), and is very attracted to her. Such a sweet story. Would definately recommend this to 18+ adult contemparary romance lovers. I recieved my copy of Trust in Me from Netgalley.

This book tell the story of Claire and Kevin. Claire, who desperately needed to prove herself to her controlling father found herself a job as a cashier in a hardware shop where Kevin is the manager. Betrayed by her playboy fiance, she doesnt allow herself to trust anyone anymore and when she found herself trusting Kevin, she begin to questioned herself. Kevin, on the other hand, trying hard to denied his feeling for Claire as he knew that he would not provide her with the luxuries that she is enjoying. It is a light read and i really enjoyed the story very much!

A sweet contemporary. Claire Albritton is trying to find herself. At 24 she is tired of allowing her wealthy Daddy to dictate her life. She flees to where she was happiest, her grandmothers’ hometown. She manages to get a job as a cashier at the local hardware store where she meets Kevin Fuller. Kevin lost his dad in Iraq. His mother was a hippie. He has always been the “responsible one”. He is trying to go to school, pay off his mothers hospital bills and run the hardware store. Kevin was incredibly sweet without being a wuss. I fell in love with him right along with Claire.

This was a nice Romeo & Juliet story with a happy ending. Kevin the poor guy and Claire the rich Deb meet after Claire leaves home to find her independence from her father and a cheating fiance and finds that you can Love someone and be Loved by someone for yourself and not who you are or what you have

Short story truly worth reading. It's about finding independence, financial freedom, friendships, acceptance, true love & so much more. Surprising coming from such a small story. Some could day predictable, yes. But, for that matter isn't all our lives when we first start out its the the decisions we choose make along the way that count. This small love story gives you that & much move.

Trust in Me is closer to a 2.5. I had no idea what the frog thing was and I reread the beginning to see if I could get it. The conflict is obvious and not very new. The hero is, by far, the best part of this book....even if he is a little too good to be true.

This book was well written but really not for me. I enjoy some sweet romances but this was over the top. The characters are so nice that it makes me wonder what they are hiding.

A light "opposites attract" romance--the hero is a poor, but noble, small town guy, and the heroine is a rich woman from the city trying to establish her independence and follow her dream.
